Blair’s Sudden Death sauce

"It's nice, it has a meaty, porky flavour which gives the sauce a good savoury kick. "

Blair’s Sudden Death sauce

This bottle of Blair's Sudden Death sauce I'm holding is a similar size to the standard bottle of Tabasco. However when I hold a bottle of Tabasco, I'm not shitting myself, unlike when I hold a bottle of Blair's.

" You can taste the two main ingredients separately throughout eating this sauce."

Hot Diggidy Dog Hot Limed Pepper Sauce

This is a limed variety of the Hot Diggidy Dog Hot Original Pepper Sauce I've reviewed last week, it comes in the same glass 57ml shake-on bottle, and has very similar ingredients.

Hot Diggidy Dog Hot Original Pepper Sauce

"When I added it to some pasta it kicked my ass for a bit."

Hot Diggidy Dog Hot Original Pepper Sauce

Straight to point, no messing around, BOOM the big dog is here! Never before have I seen such lethal yet cute packaging in all the time I've been buying chilli sauces, and Hot Diggidy Dog's branding really stood out for me.

Edinburgh Preserves Jalapeno Hot Sauce

"Very versatile and really does the Jalapeño pepper justice."

Edinburgh Preserves Jalapeno Hot Sauce

This Jalapeño Hot Sauce from Edinburgh Preserves was a gift from my cousin Olly, and came as part of a gift box set. The packaging is reserved yet attractive and the screw-top bottle is nothing unusual.

Pulled Pork made with Byron’s Butt Rub

"It's soft, it's chewy, and most importantly, it's meaty."

Pulled Pork made with Byron’s Butt Rub

Pulled Pork is one of those foods that I only first found out about after watching countless episodes of Man Vs Food, and then discovered that it's quite hard to come across in the UK since it being primarily a US dish. Pulled Pork has started to catch on in the UK and is becoming quite the trend, especially with burger restaurants adding it as a topping to gourmet burgers.

Bad Byron’s Butt Rub Barbeque Seasoning

"These days I tend to season most foods with this rub rather than salt and pepper"

Bad Byron’s Butt Rub Barbeque Seasoning

Bad Byron's Butt Rub Barbeque Seasoning (BBBRBS) is a typical US style barbecue rub that is more versatile than a pig itself. The rub is designed to be used on meats of course, but I also recomend you try it on salads, eggs, fish, and vegetables also.

Windward West Indian Hot Pepper Sauce

"For me this is almost a perfect heat for a table sauce"

Windward West Indian Hot Pepper Sauce

Windward's Indian Hot Pepper Sauce is a blinder! The sauce has a traditional Caribbean pepper sauce flavour that you may have tried before with sauces such as Baron and Encona, very fruity, quite sharp, but with an undercurrent of mellow thyme.

Frank’s RedHot Xtra Hot Sauce

"I've been putting it on everything I eat!"

Frank’s RedHot Xtra Hot Sauce

Frank's RedHot sauce come in a few different varities which are all simular tasting, and have quite a watery consistency This variety of Frank's RedHot is 'Xtra Hot', and to be honest I always thought that the standard RedHot was quite weak in heat, and I much prefer this variety.

The Wiltshire Chilli Farm Fruity Chilli Sauce

"A great alternative to HP sauce."

The Wiltshire Chilli Farm Fruity Chilli Sauce

Lovely, a proper British chilli sauce made with home-grown chillies, and containing nothing but natural ingredients.

Lovely, a proper British chilli sauce made with home-grown chillies, and containing nothing but natural ingredients.  The Wiltshire Chilli Farm Fruity Chilli Sauce is a very vibrant and fruity chilli sauce that is not too far away from a spicier version of HP sauce.  The main flavour profile is brown sugar, dried fruit, with a zingy kick of chilli.
